Descriptive text here

On Saturday 20 April, at 6pm, in the hall of the Vecchia pescheria in Marano Lagunare, there will be a presentation of the biographical novel “The fisherman poet” by Ferdinando Scala (for Graphot Editrice), with a preface by Roberta Pontelli and an introduction by Aurelio Zentilin.

The author Scala, born in 1943, comes from the lagoons of Lower Friuli; at 19 he arrived in Milan where he attended the Catholic University and joined the Garzanti Editorial Team, in the sector of the Great Works of the 1960s, i.e. the famous Garzantine, the great Dictionaries of Italian, French, English, German, the great fiction of authors like Pasolini, Volpni, Carlo Emilio Gadda and many others. In the meantime, he reconciles work with social commitment in the neighborhoods where he lives, for which he writes thoughtful stories. His desire is to pass on his professional activity to young people and for this reason he founded, in the mid-80s, the School of Publishing, which has now become one of the best Masters at the Catholic University of Milan.

The event, with a presentation by the author and testimonies, takes place under the patronage of the Municipality of Marano Lagunare. Afterwards, he signs copies of the book.
