Workshops, meetings and outdoor activities at the weekend coming to Pietrasanta. Friday 19 April at 4.30pm at MuSA, the first appointment of the event dedicated to digital culture which will explore one of the modern “challenges”, that of the digital, ecological and generational transition. Free participation upon registration, to be completed via the link https://tno.camcom.it/corsi/le-ecosostenibilita-delle-nuove-tecnologie-e-le-nuove-tecnologie-le-ecosostenibilita. At 5pm the workshops and readings in English continue with “magic teacher” Elisa and “Once upon a time…”: for all children from 5 years of age onwards the appointment is in the Children’s section of the municipal library. On Saturday 20th, on the Tonfano beach and in the competition field set up in Piazza XXIV Maggio, hundreds of athletes from all over Italy and some European countries will compete in the functional fitness event “Pietrasanta beach throwdown”. Races start at 8.30am, finish at 6.30pm with continuation the following day, same time.

On Sunday 21 April at 3pm, on the occasion of the “National Earth Day” established by the United Nations and which occurs the following day, the PlasticFree volunteers will meet at the Marina pier for a new “clean up” on the beach, carried out with the patronage of the Municipality and in collaboration with the Ersu company. At 5pm, “What are you doing on Sunday” returns to the Annunziata room? Meetings with the author in the library”: Matteo Nerbi presents “Utrum and other narrative voice stories”, a collection published by GFE and the literary debut of the writer, recent winner of the 7th prize entitled to Gianni Di Benedetto And Piero Franzosa. Moderate the meeting Cathy Vigneron.

In the exhibition venues and in the open spaces of the historic center and the Marina, the “L’Oriente Somato” exhibitions continue. Graziella Bucci, in the Grasce room; “When ideas become images” by Pietro Del Corto And Romeo Tomei, in the San Leone Hall; in Piazza Duomo, in the church and in the rooms of the Cloister of Sant’Agostino “You are not alone – Angels listening” by Rachel Lee Hovnanian; at the “Antonucci” archaeological museum, the collective “World Beyond Words” and in Piazza XXIV Maggio, in Tonfano, the “Building Bridges” installation by Lorenzo Quinn.
