The Germani Brescia is capturing the attention of the entire Serie A with a 2025-2026 season that mixes moments of pure offensive poetry with excellent defensive stops, positioning itself at the 2nd place in attack with 89.7 points scored on average and al 5th in defense with an allowed PPP of 0.948. Thanks to the data provided to us by Synergy, we therefore try to better understand the playing style of Cotelli’s team, underlining the weapons that make the Brescians lethal in the offensive phase and illuminating the cracks to be filled in defense.

???? Strengths in attack

Germani’s is an attack capable of dancing with surgical precision. Brescia excels inoverall shooting efficiencyplacing 4th in eFG with a solid 56.4%, thanks to a great mix of penetrations and jump shots that always keep opposing defenses one step behind. This fluidity is not accidental, but the result of a system that generates possessions of absolute quality, dominating in 1st place in LBA with the best shot quality in the championship. The data that really makes the difference for Brescia is the three-point percentagethe best in the league with 38.4% from beyond the arc. Furthermore, do not forget theeffectiveness in paintingwhere the Lombards are in 5th place in two-point percentage (55.6). This is precisely one of the main bases of Cotelli’s attack, making Brescia a team that attacks the rim with ferocity and creates mismatches that are very complicated for defenders to manage.

Weak points in attack

However, all that glitters is not gold. The turnovers in particular they represent a problem for Germani’s game, with Brescia in 9th place in this statistic (13.5% of turnovers). This means free balls that turn potential baskets into lethal counterattacks for the opponents, a problem that is evident on bad nights against fast teams. Not necessarily negative, but certainly an interesting data to analyze is that linked to possessions playedfor which Brescia is placed in third last place with 84.6. This indicates a predilection for Cotelli’s team to play at a slower pace, instead making it more difficult in the parts of the match in which the game becomes more frenetic.
