The cutting of the ribbon was greeted last night (Thursday 3 July) by citizens in the presence of the mayor, the councilors for public works, Roberto Bianchi and the environment, Anna Pazzaglia, municipal councilors, by the designer architect Marialuisa Cipriani and the CTR, executing company of the works. Located in the heart of Coriano, the capital, between the Garibaldi streets and a washbasin, the green area has been designed to enhance the potential of an aggregative place aimed at people of all ages, from young people to families with children to the elderly.
In the new configuration, the paths of love were inserted, pedestrian yellow pedestrian paths interspersed with parking areas with wooden benches located in the existing olive grove which has 70 specimens of olive trees. The pedestrian paths are flanked by Judas trees with a characteristic pink color during the flowering period. The park has been enriched with 60 new trees between the Frassino, Orniello and Pioppi Cipressini species. In addition to promoting the biodiversity of the area, creating areas of shading and obtaining new features, the soccer and volleyball fields have been redeveloped with new networks, the gazebo and the dog stamped area kept.
