Twice on Friday night the passage of the ambulance and fire engine was prevented by the presence of parked cars. The episodes, which occurred respectively in Salita Incurabili and in via Maria Longo around midnight, were filmed by motorists queuing in blocked traffic and the images sent to Alleanza Verdi Sinistra deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“Certain ignoble behaviors are to be equated with serious crimes against the community and as such should be severely punished. The arrogance of those who park in a wicked way so as to even prevent the passage of emergency vehicles cannot go unnoticed. The incivility of those who occupied the lane caused greater risks to those who were waiting for those emergency vehicles, it is absolutely unworthy. Arrogant people who lack civic sense and who jeopardize the safety of others must be held accountable for their actions and must be done with punctuality and rigor.
