“The segment wasn’t scripted word for word, as most things on that show are. They allowed the kids to speak freely. You’re not allowed to mention Vince McMahon’s name on TV, but McIntyre changed the focus (of the discussion) and they got out of it.”
Unscripted segments are a question mark for any company. They depend on the athletes’ ability to entertain on the microphone without having to follow a real script. This opportunity is not the rule, not everyone has the opportunity to have creative control.
