Pioli at Napoli, the “hoax” is around the corner: the updates

The Pioli track becomes complicated: in addition to the contract that binds him to Milan, a Serie A club appears that wants to secure him.

Stefano Pioli he is one of the main candidates for Napoli’s bench next season. President De Laurentiis has certainly not hidden his esteem for the former Fiorentina coach in recent years. Milan, on the other hand, is dissatisfied with the actions of their coach and is increasingly rated ashypothesis of separation at the end of the season.

Pioli was linked to the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2025 and, consequently, there are only two options that he will be able to consider: taking a sabbatical or agreeing to a severance package with Milan. The latter could be a choice that would slow down the Emilian coach’s arrival under the shadow of Vesuvius.

Meanwhile, however, a new obstacle knocks on Napoli’s door: a Serie A club is interested in the Milan coach. The company in question is the Bologna who at the end of the current football season will probably say goodbye to Thiago Motta. The rossoblù coach, according to some rumours, is destined to embrace the Juventus cause: the Juventus.

The Bolognese team has already expressed its interest both in Pioli and in Vincenzo Italiano. The Fiorentina coach, close to leaving, is another profile that De Laurentiis would be monitoring: a survey by the new sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is likely. As an alternative to him, from a rossoblù perspective, there would be Pioli who could willingly accept the cause.

There qualification for the next Champions League could play a fundamental role for Pioli’s ambition, unlike Napoli who will, at most, have to be satisfied with Conference League. Pioli’s at Bologna, as reported by Sportitaliait could become a concrete negotiation: Giovanni Sartori, head of Bologna’s technical area, has deep respect for him. It would be a real return 10 years after the last game on the bench.

With the rossoblù he collected 97 benches from October 2011 to January 2014: the average points was 1.27 in total.
