In Italy there is a great passion that revolves around motorbikes and scooters. Finally, now there is news that fills the Bel Paese with pride.
The historical period we are facing certainly cannot be considered the simplest of all from an economic point of view, also given the continuous problems that have been the whole world is going through. First, there was Covid and then the most terrible wars of recent years: the one between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the one between Israel and Palestine.
Despite this, the passion in Italy for motorbikes and scooters has certainly not diminished, indeed, perhaps for this reason it is experiencing a truly golden period. Registrations already in 2023 have reached the peak in Italian history with many brands, including the BMW, which had never sold so much in Italy in the past.
This excellent path that has been undertaken by companies therefore seems to have to continue. In fact, the data arrives again this month and is positive, as can be understood directly from the words of the President of ANCMAthe National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories, Mariano Romanwith these highlighting how in the Bel Paese there is an increasingly careful search for new motorcycles.
Motorcycle and scooter boom: over 21.1%
The manager Mariano Roman thus highlighted how the results are extraordinary also for the participation of motorcyclists in the various events throughout Italy. One of all EICMA Riding Fest, at its first edition which gave customers the opportunity to test the best two-wheelers of the moment and which took place on the Misano circuit. Precisely this event brought the first great results.
The participation was numerous, which bodes well not only for the editions of the coming years, but also for a continuous improvement of the economy in the two-wheel field. In fact, we can see this with a truly sensational month of April, given that motorbikes and scooters sold well 40,742 vehicles.
A truly impressive number, so much so that there was an increase of 21.18%. The most evident growth is that of scooters, with 20,976 specimens which brings us to +26.18% compared to April 2023. Motorcycles also performed very well, with 18,236 examples and an increase of 18.52%. The data, paradoxically, worsen with mopeds, with a drop of 4.97%. It therefore seems that there could be an economic recovery for the Bel Paese in this field with sales of motorbikes and scooters going booming. The continuation of the year seems to bring with it many other great news.
