This race was very good, but last year’s race here was also good, as was Mugello 2022, but this race is in the top 5 of my career, if not on the podium.”
On the management he had of all the moments of the match: “I waited behind Martin, I couldn’t do the whole race at that pace, I would go back to pushing hard in the last five laps and everything went great. The overtaking on the outside on the first lap is the best thing of the race, then the duel and finally the fastest lap. When Martin crashed I started to push more and I immediately improved my times because with Jorge in front I was struggling to make my lines well, the front tire was increasing in pressure and was struggling a little more. After Marquez’s crash I was pulling away from Bez and then I saw that Marquez passed him. I knew I had something more and I handled myself perfectly.
