Pernat attacks Marquez
Speaking at the microphones of Sky Italiathe manager Carlo Pernat he lashed out against Brad Binder’s race conduct and Marc Marquez and on the failure to penalize the latter with a Long Lap Penalty, guilty of having “both Mir and Oliveira were affected”.
Oliveira clarifies
It was precisely on this last episode Miguel Oliveira on television to explain what happened, after having compared himself with Marc Marquez in the space dedicated to interviews, an interview that ended amicably and with a pat on the back.
Oliveira said: “I explained to him that he owed me a new screen and a new air filter, due to the stones that were leaking from the bike. I told him: ‘Look, your way of overtaking is that you throw in half the bike, then you let go of the brake. If the other guy resists you lean on him, and if you take him out, you take him out.’ And he replied: ‘Yes, I have to overtake like this, otherwise I have no way of doing it‘”. Oliveira commented as follows: “Fair enough, I’ll let the stewards decide. I was passed cleanlybecause when I got the bike back there was a puddle of water in Turn 9. And it happened to me twice, that’s how it went.”
