The onset of a flow of warmer currents of African origin caused a drastic increase in temperatures on Saturday which in the South was even 10°C higher than on Friday. A further increase is expected today Sunday on Monday it will also be the one with the highest values ​​recorded in this phase. But as you already know Italy will be involved in one new phase of bad weather which will begin quietly on Tuesday and will extend to the entire Peninsula on May 1st. Therefore the semi-summer temperatures of these days will be destined to drop again and even end up locally below average. Let’s see immediately what values ​​await us for the next few days:

TEMPERATURES MONDAY: further increase in temperature, all of Italy will be above average, including several degrees in the central Tyrrhenian regions and a large part of the South, especially Sardinia, Campania and Puglia. Highs up to 28°C or even higher over northern Sicily.

TEMPERATURES TUESDAY: slight decrease in Sardinia and Sicily, elsewhere temperatures stable or slightly further increasing. Peaks of 28°C in the Center and South but 28°C are not excluded locally in the eastern Po Valley.

WEDNESDAY TEMPERATURES: the month of May enters, the color changes and the comparison with the average. Decrease in the western regions, they could end up below average from Liguria to Campania, including the islands. The rest of the Peninsula will be on average or slightly above average in the case of the Northeast and Puglia.

TEMPERATURES THURSDAY: further slight decrease in the North which may still be below average locally, possible below average also in Sardinia. On average the rest of Italy except for a slight above average in Puglia

FOLLOWING DAYS: a further slight, fairly widespread decrease is expected with the possibility that a below average may be recorded in several regions.
