(Teleborsa) – Gesapmanagement company of Palermo airport, approved the draft financial statements for 2023 which reports a net profit of 12,235,898 and with 42.8% compared to 2022 represents best result ever. Ebitda exceeded 30 million euros compared to almost 21 million in the previous year.
The value produced was equal to 97,390,346 euros, +15.1% compared to 2022. “At the basis of the good economic results – we read in the note on the financial statements released by Gesap – there is the strong increase in passenger traffic and flights at the airport: aircraft movements grew by 7% and passengers increased by 14%. This led to the increase in core revenues of over 12 million (+13%). To this must also be added a lower weight of production costs in relation to the value of management revenues”.
The investment activity absorbed net financial resources of 23,547,133 (16,034,749 in the previous year). “The success of this budget is due to the investments, which went from 16 to over 23.5 million in one year – underlines Vito Riggio, CEO of Gesap.
