TRENT. Everyone running, or walking, through the streets of the city center, in the name of solidarity.
On Saturday 18 May, with a meeting scheduled for 9.30 am, the city center will be peacefully “invaded” by participants in the fourth edition of the “New Life Run”the charity event organized by New Life Trentowhich aims to raise funds for SOS Child Village of Trento.
Kicking off the race – this year – there will be an exceptional starter, the Trentino middle-distance runner Yeman Crippa who will wish his personal good luck to the participants and, for once, will limit himself to acting as starter.
The entire proceeds of the day, which has now become a fixed event in the month of May, will in fact be donated to the structure located inside the Gocciadoro park: the race will develop along the city streets with arrival right at the Villaggio del Fanciullo, according to two routes, one of 5 and one of 10 kilometers
The appointment is at 9.30 in via Verdi with all participants who, before the “start”, will be able to sip a free coffee at the Duomo Bistrot Bar: at 10am the (non-competitive) 10km race will start, while ten minutes later (10.10am) the 5km race will start.
Registrations are still open and will be possible until 9.30 am on Saturday morning at the New Life secretariat in via Don A. Rizzi.
And, at the end of the race, to recover from the efforts (especially those of the final climb), at the SOS Fanciullo Village, participants and supporters will be able to eat in company an excellent plate of pasta prepared by the Alpini of the Ravina Belvedere section.
