Until Sunday evening Cuneo comes alive with the European Market, in the “living room” of Piazza Galimberti.
The weekend brings back to the capital of Granda the long-awaited appointment with the colorful street trading event featuring products and specialties from different countries, in a “world summit of stalls”.
The Cuneo stage is in its tenth edition and is part of the national calendar of the European Market, in the coordination managed by Confcommercio Fiva (Italian Federation of street vendors), confirming its success with the public.
The program includes three days of celebration with an international flavour, all with free entry, in Piazza Galimberti: Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May, from 9am to 11pm (although on Saturday a longer queue is expected). long, as an opportunity for gastronomic and musical conviviality for the desire to be outdoors).
“We are very satisfied that we can re-propose the appointment with the European Market, which in recent years has grown a lot between confirmations and innovations, with a strong characterization in ‘food’ from all over Europe and also from other countries, and which has been appreciated right from the start, confirming itself every year as a celebration much loved by the people of Cuneo”. Thus comments the provincial president of Fiva Confcommercio, Gualtiero Chiaramello, in reiterating the invitation to the event. Three days of stalls, stands and “traveling kitchens” to focus on creativity, craftsmanship and traditions, also in the form of taste and typicality, with delicacies, street food and crafts from many countries around the world, as well as music and entertainment.
On Sunday 12th the extraordinary festive street market will also be held, in Corso Nizza up to Corso Galileo Ferraris, with over 130 stalls (parking prohibited from 5am to 9pm, transit from 6am; Corso Giolitti and Brunet and Corso Ferraris and Vittorio Emanuele II can be visited) .
