The 1st Diocesan Meeting of Lay Aggregations in Mazara

“We welcome the Word with the joy of the Holy Spirit” is the title of the 1st diocesan meeting of lay groups which will be held on Sunday 19 May, in the auditorium of the “F. Ferrara” of Mazara del Vallo. The reception will be held at 9am; to follow: invocation to the Holy Spirit; greetings from the CDAL coordinator Erina Alagna and presentation of the groups; listening to the Word and meditation of the Bishop; at the end celebration of the holy mass presided over by the Bishop. The Consultation was born a few months ago. The Council has already met, in which the Bishop Monsignor Angelo Giurdanella participated and indicated this year’s priorities. Among these is the census of all ecclesial groups, movements and associations present in the Diocese. To this end, an online form has been made available (https://forms.gle/1kBYUcmsep2744B7A) for you to fill out. But among the priorities is that of drawing up the Statute of the Consulta. «You must be facilitators for all the lay groups of our Diocese – said Monsignor Giurdanella in the last meeting with the Council – so that they can express their beauty, to build together and be a Church where everyone feels welcomed and appreciated».
