LEGNANO – They will be active citizens, individuals or associations who, from the beginning of 2023, have stipulated collaboration agreements to deal with common goodsthe protagonists of “Tutti per uno… patti per tutti”, the initiative organized tomorrow, Saturday 11 May, by the municipal administration of Legnano as part of the Civil Week. From 9.30 am to 1.30 pm in the park of the “Augusto Marinoni” Library (via Cavour 3) the activity of the pacts (in the picturea meeting in the Municipality headquarters) will be illustrated through workshops and moments of exchange and gift related to greenery, the area, together with the maintenance of public furnishings, in which active citizens in Legnano work. Explanatory panels of the individual agreements, currently 16, will be positioned in the park of the Library illustrate the activity carried out with photographs by citizens.
The program includes the exchange of cuttings prepared by active citizens and the gift of some small bags of flower seeds to those present, who will be asked to leave a “green thought” on a postcard which will be exhibited. At 10.30 readings for children on topics relating to greenery and, at 11.00, workshop (also for children) to make “seed bombs”, composed of soil, flower seeds and grass to be dried and then thrown into the lawn. In addition to individual active citizens, the morning takes advantage of the presence and collaboration of some associations that have signed the agreements: Time Bank, Serena cooperative, Progetti fantasia and Afamp.
Solidarity Cloister Party
Also tomorrow, Saturday 11th, from 4.00 pmthe garden of the family community “Il Chiostro solidale” in Cerro Maggiore (piazza San Francesco 1) will host the event “People, families, communities: we are the Constitution!”, a great party to learn about the experiences of associationism and citizenship active in the territory which they make the Italian Constitution alive in its values of solidarity and welcome. The initiative is part of the “Vivere” program of Milan Civil Week 2024, promoted by the Municipality of Milan, Third Sector Forum, Service Center for Volunteering-CSV of Milan, Corriere della Sera-Buone Nosti, with the support of the Foundations of community and the Lombardy Region, which sees from 9 to 12 May, 400 initiatives will take place throughout the entire territory of the Metropolitan City of Milan in which associative and third sector organizations will give citizens the opportunity to see associations and volunteers at work.
The Cerrese event proposed to the entire Alto Milanese area involves numerous organizations (Una Casa per Pollicino Onlus, leader, Il Chiostro solidale, Scout group Legnano 1, Caritas of the Deanery of Legnano, Acli, Società San Vincenzo De Paoli, Children’s Reception Committee of Chernobyl, the association of foster families AffiDarci, the Il Quadrifoglio elderly center, Legnano hospital volunteer association, Anpi Cerro Maggiore, Cielo e Terra, Intrecci social cooperative, Albatros social cooperative, Rete Progetto 300+1) which will be all present with their own stands to each tell many beautiful stories of community service. The program includes great game of the goose of the Constitution prepared by the after-school and scout kids, made up of boxes in which they explained with drawings the main articles of the Constitution in their connection with the present associative experiences. And then creative workshops, face painting and many other games. To follow it show of the clown Gemy and from 6.45pm a super aperitifprepared by the families of the Cloister.
