On the initiative of the cultural association WoodArt by Garessioat the end of May 2024, Andreas Beseler it will be for the first time in Italy, in Piedmont, in the province of Cuneo. With him a large representation of Besi and Friends from Germany and Luxembourg.

To welcome them, Erik Roland, national MTB instructor, today “proudly” on the board of the AIL (Italian Association against leukemia-lymphoma and myeloma) of Cuneo, Alberto Minetti, already a professional cyclist in 1981 with Famcucine-Campagnolo, captain Francesco Moser.

It’s not just about pedaling, but about demonstrating that difficulties can be overcome together.

Andreas Beseler (aka Besi) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1992. He already had a prescription for a wheelchair and was only able to walk with the aid of a cane. With the help of a friend she discovered his passion, which would also become his therapy: cycling.
Since then he has regularly participated in cycling races and events and under the motto: One for all, all for one, gave birth to the Besi&Friends foundation, with thousands of members throughout Europe.

With the patronage and support of the Cuneo ATL; the patronage and support of the Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourism Board; the patronage of the Municipality of Garessio; the support of Acqua San Bernardo, Beppino Occelli, CicliMattio srl, Gianmoto Bike Garessio and Freeride Garessio and the commitment of the guides of the Freedomtoride of Cuneo who designed the routes

Departure Sunday 26 May at 9.30am Piazza Galimberti – Cuneo towards Saluzzo (93 km / 1660 meters above sea level) with a detour to the Pre-Alps.

On May 27, the second stage takes them to Cherasco (119 km / 1315 meters altitude), a stop in La Morra and a visit to the Langhe.

On May 28, the 3rd stage touches Bra, Pollenzo, Mondovì and ends in Vicoforte (110 km / 1710 meters altitude), where the group stays for 3 nights.

29 May departure from Vicoforte towards Frabosa Soprana, with a stop in Villanova and return to Vicoforte (58 km 860 m difference in altitude)

30 May: departure from Vicoforte, first stop in Valcasotto at the “Borgo dei Formaggi” in Beppino Occellithen Garessio, Priola – where the children of the Arcobaleno Association will be waiting for the group of cyclists -, return to Vicoforte passing through Colle San Giacomo (99 km, 2130 m difference in altitude).

31 May: departure from Vicoforte towards Cuneo with a large ring that passes through Certosa di Pesio (80 km / 1180 meters altitude).

The last stage on Saturday 1 June passes through Borgo San Dalmazzo and reaches the highest sanctuary in Europe, Sant’Anna di Vinadio, at 2000 meters above sea level (107 km / 1920 meters of altitude difference).
