There US Legnanese 1913 inaugurates the running season with the StraLegnanese for the Centenary scheduled for Sunday May 12th with the non-competitive foot race open to all running enthusiasts who will be able to choose between the 5km test and the 10km test.
That of 2024, with meeting in Largo Tosi at 8.30 and departure at 9.00 sharp, is a truly special edition, starting from its name which celebrates the centenary of the city of Legnano. It was in fact 15 August 1924 when King Vittorio Emanuele III signed and delivered the royal decree which, recognizing its economic and industrial value, the important historical and cultural traditions, and the number of inhabitants, granted the Municipality of Legnano the title of City.
It is therefore no coincidence that the StraLegnanese of the Centenary it will pass through five special and symbolic places in the cityeach with its own history and importance: Piazza San Magnothe pulsating and vital heart of Legnano, surrounded by centuries-old buildings and a meeting center for the entire community; Malinverni Palacea period residence, now the Town Hall, embodies the elegance and charm of local architecture;
- the Visconti Castle of Legnanosymbol of strength, tradition and culture, a majestic fortress that dominates the city panorama;
- there Legnanese manufacturingtestimony to local industry and artisan work, is an integral part of the economic fabric of Legnano;
- The Monument to the Warrioran icon that evokes the historical traditions of Legnano and its link with the Palio, an unmissable annual celebration at the end of May.
Stralegnanese will also have a celebratory technical shirt for the Centenary, a black and gold limited edition: black, which recalls one of the distinctive colors of the over-hundred-year-old sports club, and gold, which recalls the importance of this year’s celebration.
To underline the attention and commitment of US Legnanese 1913 to corporate sustainability, the centenary medal designed for this unrepeatable occasion is special and entirely made of recycled wood.

REGISTRATION
Participation
Participation in the StraLegnanese – 2024, for all routes, does not include particular sporting constraints: people of all ages and abilities can participate.
Entry fee
The registration fee for the 5 or 10 km race is €15.00 and is not refundable under any circumstances (€20.00 the day before the race and the day of departure).
Group registrations: the registration fee for groups up to 20 PEOPLE and of 250 euros. Each additional member 10 euros each.
It will be possible to change the participant’s name no later than May 7, 2024 at a cost of 5 euros for secretarial fees. By registering, the participant will receive the StraLegnanese – 2024 shirt and the numbered bib.
The Stralegnanese – 2024 shirt is reserved for the first 1000 members.
Registration opening/closing
ONLINE REGISTRATIONS: via the website https://www.endu.net/it/events/stralegnanese/ payment by credit card, Pay Pal or bank transfer (follow instructions that will be received via email). Nb: bank charges are the responsibility of the payer. Online registrations will be closed on Thursday 9 May 2024.
- Registration for departure: May 12th from 7.30 to 8.30.
Registrations will however be closed at reaching 1500 members. The Organizing Company, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to bring forward the closing of registrations.
The organizing company, while taking care of the success of the event, declines any and all liability in the event of accidents, thefts and damage to people and/or things before, during and after the event. By paying the registration fee the participant declares to have read and consequently to know and accept the Regulation of Stralegnanese for the Centenary.
PATH
The route, starting from Largo Tosi, will wind along the streets of the city of Legnano according to the map indicated on the site (5 km route: 1 lap – 10 km route: 2 laps) with arrival in Largo Tosi. Departure is scheduled for 09.00. Arrival must take place by 11.00 am. Each participant is free to travel the route at the pace they deem most suitable.
