Gabriele Gori returns to Farmaè Viareggio. The Juventus club once again embraces one of the champions who wrote memorable pages in the club’s history, helping to make it great (and successful) in Italy and Europe: just remember the legendary “treble” of 2016.
Gori, born in 1987, began and spent a good part of his extraordinary career at Vbs: his first experience with Juventus lasted 10 years, marked by goals and trophies in industrial quantities: from 2010 to 2019, “Tin-Tin” scored a total of 361 goals, providing a decisive contribution to the conquest of a scudetto, 2 Italian Cups, a Euro Winners Cup and an Italian Super Cup. It is also thanks to his impressive scoring skills that Farmaè Viareggio became the first Italian team (and still today the only one) to have won all national and European competitions. With the Viareggio shirt, Gori also became top scorer in Serie A 5 times, as many times in the Italian Cup and 2 times in the Euro Winners Cup. Even with the national team he broke the barrier of 300 goals, winning the European Championship in 2018 and reaching the final World Cup in 2019.

I meet up with teammates with whom I shared unforgettable moments and a club that has grown from every point of view over the years: this is certainly a different team than the one I left in 2020, thanks also to the ideas brought by Mr. Corosiniti. I know him well, we have been teammates in the national team for a long time: it will be stimulating to work with him. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch with the VBS shirt and hear the fans shouting my name again”, says Gabriele Gori.
