Not just a catwalk at San Siro for Italian champions Inter, history repeated itself, a few hours later also on the Cupella synthetic.
Virtus Cupello, already with salvation in their pocket for two weeks, received this afternoon the leaders and battleship Teramo which seven days ago, won the Eccellenza championship toasting promotion to Serie D.
This afternoon, before the kick-off of the 34th and final round of the top regional championship, the rossoblù of mister Nicola Fiore (former matchday player, in Teramo in C from 2014 to 2015, complete with promotion) they paid homage to the people of Teramo with the ‘pasillo’ of honor. Catwalk made up of players and technical staff from Cupella, captain Pepe (today on the bench) and president Franco Iachini they thanked to the applause of the entire audience.
The party on the pitch isn’t over because Virtus Cupello, presented a commemorative plaque, for the championship victory, delivered to the captain of the day, Ferraioli, by the hands of the rossoblù general director Peppino Di Francesco. For Teramo then Sunday of joy completed by the clear victory that put an end to a season dominated by winning the “double” between the championship and the Italian Cup of Excellence.
