Autumn climate and in some regions winter-like in Italy. The third weekend of April is dedicated to bad weather with the return of Freddo, rains it’s a sharp drop in temperatures caused by the influx of cold air and the passage of two disturbances. Here is the weather forecast.
Weather, what will the weather be like over the weekend?
Cold and rain from North to South in Italy, a winter-style weekend and not a spring one. In fact, they continue to flow in our country cold North Atlantic disturbances which reported thunderstorms and showers, even intense, throughout the country with a consequent sharp drop in temperatures. The weekend will also be characterized by bad weather thanks to the passage of disturbance n.6 in April which will be felt especially in the Central-Southern regions. Come back there snow on the Apennineswhile from Sunday 21 April a new disturbance, the 7th of the month, will be felt in the Northern regions with scattered rains and the return of snow.
But let’s go into detail with them forecast for Saturday 20 April: sunny weather in the North-East and the Major Islands. Clouds and rain in the rest of the country with intense phenomena in Campania, northern Puglia and, on a more isolated basis, also in Veneto, Emilia, Romagna and Basilicata. It returns to the Apennines snow over 1300-1500 meters. Decreasing maximum temperatures dropping by as much as -10° compared to the average for the period.
Also Sunday 21 April it will be a day characterized by clouds and rain in various regions of Italy. Bad weather is not expected to affect the northern regions in the early hours of the morning, although a storm is expected from the afternoon worsening with rain, showers and snowfall up to 800/1300 meters in the Alps, Pre-Alps and Ligurian and Emilian Apennines.
Weather, what will the weather be like on April 25th?
Over the next week Europe and Italy will be included in one unusually cold air mass for the period which will lead to a drop in temperatures of up to 6-8° compared to the values of the period. A thermal anomaly also caused by the passage of a new disturbance, the n.7 of April, arriving on Monday 22 April. Accompanying the disturbance is also an unstable core with cold temperatures Arctic origin which will affect a large part of the country. A winter-like climate in Italy with a new critical phase of bad weather complete with heavy snow in the North-West up to around 600-800 metres.
For the day of Tuesday 23 April An improvement is expected in a large part of the North, while Emilia Romagna and the central regions will have to deal with the passage of rain and storms. Snowfall cannot be ruled out up to 1000-1200 meters. In the regions of Southern Italy, however, the arrival of the disturbance n.8 rising from North Africa which will bring rain between Monday evening and Tuesday to eastern Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia.
Naturally, the weather forecast may still undergo important changes due to the complex atmospheric circulation. One thing is certain: a situation should persist throughout next week unstable and variable climate characterized by cold, rain and snow.
