There Vials Salerno expresses its opinion worry about the presumed appointment of the coordinator of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Salerno hospital which took place on March 31st.
The union is concerned that, despite the explanations provided by the Ruggi Management, there is currently no operator holding this position pending the necessary insolvency procedures as required by the national collective labor agreement.
He believes it is essential to have a designated contact person while awaiting the insolvency proceedings, involving all staff of the Department e favoring the rotation based on length of service.
“A direct nomination by the Director, even if temporary, could lead to a job advancement and a treasury damage attributable to the person responsible for this decision. To avoid disputes and guarantee transparency and legality, the strategic management of Ruggi is asked to immediately start the selection procedures for the positions, involving all the Department staff. This step is essential to preserve the climate and organizational well-being within the unit” Fials continues.
Carlo Lopopologeneral secretary of Fials Salerno, was clear on the matter: “It is essential that appointments within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are made through transparent and legal processes, actively involving all staff. We ask the Ruggi Management to act promptly to prevent further situations that could compromise the correct functioning of the Unit and the well-being of the workers”.
