“Bye everyone, it was nice, see you again at the next idea.” Fiorello thus bids farewell to the audience of Viva Rai2! while the memorable moments of the show scroll on the video, to the tune of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso.

For the last episode the showman wanted alongside him his lifelong friends Amadeus and Jovanotti, who reappeared on TV ten months after the bad bike accident in Santo Domingo. All around, an atmosphere of enthusiasm, with 1700 people crowded outside the glass, but also of emotion. With Amadeus the performance is at the traffic lights, which has become one of the iconic places of Viva Rai2!, full of people. “You dream of these at Nove”, jokes Fiorello. “It’s the first time I’ve gone to the traffic lights too, and I wouldn’t want it to be the last”, quips the showman. “The Amarellos will never die”, he adds before performing with Amadeus in a mini show in the middle of traffic, in the short interval between the red and green lights. There is also Ultimo, who offers Altrove, his new single, in the heart of the empty Olympic Stadium and then, invited by Fiorello, sings Alba Chiara by Vasco Rossi. With the crutch, Jova closes the show by singing, in duet with Fiore, Azzurro by Adriano Celentano. “I’d like to go back on tour, I’m not thinking about anything else”, explains the artist, indicating “next year, spring 2025” as a possible date. “It won’t be easy to start the week from next Monday: the end of the ‘Viva Rai2!’ season, with the bursting and contagious joy of Rosario Fiorello and his splendid traveling companions, leaves us without what was an unmissable event and extremely entertaining for millions of viewers, which has become a real cultural phenomenon, beyond the extraordinary audience results”, says the Rai CEO. “My grateful thanks and that of all of Rai go to Rosario Fiorello for having given us an exceptional and unforgettable season and for having shared with all of us his great qualities as a generous entertainer, an irrepressible showman, capable of inventing a genre that is an example of an intelligent, cheerful, never vulgar TV, capable of truly speaking to everyone, even the little ones, and of offering us a light and original interpretation of current affairs that best represents what it should be spirit of the Public Service. And, with Fiorello, I would like to thank Fabrizio Biggio, Mauro Casciari, all the artists who wanted to embellish the mornings of Rai 2 with their appearances, the Prime Time Entertainment Management and all those who made this splendid show possible. And I just say to everyone, certain that I am also interpreting the public’s thoughts, an affectionate ‘goodbye’.”
