Francesca Chillemi was a guest of Silvia Toffanin on the April 27 episode of “Verissimo”. She confessed to the presenter the experience of a toxic love experienced during adolescence. A relationship from which she was able to free herself but from which she still bears the scars.
“Before becoming Miss Italy I had an experience of toxic love – says Chillemi – It was one of those teenage crushes. Luckily it didn’t last very long but I experienced unpleasant things in the sense that perhaps I wasn’t even capable of managing them at the time I didn’t even confide in my parents. It ended quickly and I didn’t have the need to tell them. Initially I tried to deal with it on my own relationship with men. I have the image of a handsome father next to me and no one can take that away from me.”
