Two beauties from Ravenna at the new edition of the reality show «The Island of the Famous» hosted by Vladimir Luxuria on Canale 5: Luce Caponegro, aka Selen, ed Elenoire Casalegno. The first was chosen as a participant of the program, the second as special correspondent to Cayo Cochinos in Honduras. The start of the TV show is scheduled for Monday 8 April at 9.40pm, when twenty contestants will land in the Central American country bathed by the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south.

For about two months the competitors – including also Joe Bastianich, Aras Senol, Matilde Brandi, Edoardo Franco and Marina Suma, the other competitors currently confirmed – will live like castaways, and will therefore be called to face hardships and deprivations on a daily basis, testing their physical and psychological resistance. For Luce Caponegro, who in the nineties was one of the most famous hardcore actresses in Italy, is a welcome return to TV. Already last year, with the cast already defined, she had auditioned with the production of the program and had been included among the possible reserves in case of defections or disqualifications during the race.

This year, however, he enters directly through the front door as the protagonist. «I like the details of this reality show contact with nature, given that I have always been linked to mother Earth, and I get pleasant sensations from it – says Caponegro –. I remember as if it were now when, years ago, I entered a herbalist’s shop in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, under the Sugar Loaf mountain: I was inside for four hours, I couldn’t get out. I’m a bit of a witch and a shaman, I believe in spiritual energy, in rituals and in sharing. On the contrary, it scares me comparison with other competitors e I’m afraid of hunger, since I love good food.” Owner of the Luce Beauty and Wellness center in Ravenna, she recently also became beauty influencer, with a dream in her drawer: becoming a modern Rosanna Lambertucci, hosting an aesthetics and beauty program on TV. Her participation on the Island could help make that happen.
Elenoire Casalegno’s career: from fashion to television
The correspondent will follow the adventures of the castaways from the front row Elenoire Casalegno, born in Ravenna in 1976, she became known to the public at a very young age for her relationship with the art critic Vittorio Sgarbi, with whom she remained together from 1993 to 1997. After taking her first steps as model, He made his TV debut at just 18 years old in the Italia 1 music program «Jammin».
