“Books under the Balma” is the novelty that will enliven the 2024 opening season in Balma Boves, the museum-village on the slopes of Mombracco, in the municipality of Sanfront.
This is a series of events that include the presentation of books, meetings with the author and other initiatives to promote the area.
The currently confirmed appointments are as follows:
· Sunday 5 May – Books under the Balma – 4.30 pm presentation of the book: “The initiatory ark crosses the storm”. Organized by the Grumulus Acacia cultural association of Villafalletto. With a final surprise.
· Sunday 26 May – Books under the Balma – 3.30pm presentation of the book “La muro inviolata”. The first ascent of the north-west face of Monviso. By Marika Abbà.
· Sunday 22 September – Libri sotto la Balma—(time to be defined) presentation of the editorial project, “Il Gomitolo” (Lou groumisel) edited by Philip Alfredo and the participation of the Cevitou choir.
A new challenge to confirm and revive the cultural value and defense of the traditions of the museum-village which has always stood as a cultural hub of the Po Valley. Unless otherwise indicated, the appointments are included in the cost of entry to the museum.
