Giuseppe Calabresebetter known as Peppone, is an Italian television host and entrepreneur who will receive the prestigious title of Knight of the Republic. The award ceremony took place on June 2, 2024 Stabile Theater of Potenza, Peppone’s hometown. This recognition represents an important milestone for Peppone, who for years has dedicated himself to promoting the Lucanian area through his work. As host of the show Green Line Of Rai 1, introduced the Italian public to the scenic beauty, culinary traditions and culture of Basilicata. In addition to his television commitments, Peppone is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the owner of a restaurant in Potenza and a farmhouse in Basilicata, where he offers typical Lucanian dishes prepared with local products.
