SANTA MARIA NUOVA – A large fire broke out this morning (June 22) in a wheat field in Santa Maria Nuova, in via Querciabella.

The dynamics
It would have been triggered by sparks from a working combine harvester. The fire is affecting several hectares of land and is threatening homes, in some of which there are LPG cylinders. The firefighters of Ancona, Jesi, Osimo and Arcevia are on site. The helicopter is also in action.
