The Cervia Council has established the guidelines for allocating the resources deriving from the “Alluvione Emilia-Romagna” fundraiser promoted by the Region following the flood events of May 2023. On 5 July 2023, the donations arriving in the current account activated by the Region were 47,157,056.97 euros and it was established that a first part, equal to 32 million euros, would be allocated to resident citizens who owned vehicles damaged by the floods (27 million euros) and 5 million euros for social purposes , in favor of families and people in particular situations of economic and social fragility and of families and households in which people with disabilities are present.
Of these funds with a social purpose, 91,332.13 euros have been assigned to the Municipality of Cervia, which will be primarily allocated to:
A) the provision of economic contributions in favor of vulnerable people residing in the Municipality of Cervia;
B) support measures in favor of elderly and/or disabled residents in the Municipality of Cervia;
C) the activation of forms of socio-educational support for minors resident in the Municipality of Cervia.
The support measures will be activated after evaluation of the local social service, seeking – as far as possible – the definition of paths built together with the beneficiaries.
