In the imminence of the European elections, it is important to promote reflection meetings on the major themes that inspired the construction of the European Union.
A construction still in progress, put at risk by the war raging on the borders of Europe, by the selfishness and nationalisms that emerge within it.
What is needed instead is a new European humanism, a “constant path of humanization”, as Pope Francis defined it.

All this will be discussed in a scheduled meeting Monday 3 June at 9pm in Lecco.
The initiative is promoted and organized by the “I Popolari” Association of Lecco and by the Lecco Association “Libertà e Democracy”.
