They punched him to steal his necklace but when they realized that the necklace was not gold they gave it back and walked away after the attack. However, they did not go very far because shortly after they were stopped by the State Police, alerted by the 19-year-old from Parma who was the victim of the robbery that took place in Borgo Retto during the night.

The officers reported a 30-year-old Tunisian illegal immigrant, a 26-year-old Algerian and a 28-year-old Moroccan for aggravated robbery; the first was arrested because he was burdened by a prison order.

The boy said he was surrounded by the three criminals who, after approaching him with an excuse, punched him, tearing off the chain he was wearing around his neck. After carefully examining the necklace, mistakenly believing it was not gold, they returned it to the unfortunate man, walking away.

From the detailed descriptions provided by the victim, who was in the company of friends at the time of the attack, the patrol personnel tracked down the attackers near the central station, about two hours after the complaint.

Once at the police station it emerged that the Tunisian, in addition to failing to comply with the police commissioner’s order to leave the national territory, was the recipient of a prison order and had to serve a five-year sentence for property crimes, which is why he was taken to prison.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the Algerian citizen, resident in Reggio Emilia, aimed at issuing a mandatory expulsion order.
