On Tuesday 2nd, the resolution was approved by the Council which grants the mandate to represent the Municipal Administration to the lawyer previously identified for the support of the Council Commission of Inquiry regarding the via Favero area issue.

Following the launch of the mediation procedure requested by residents of the Via Favero area, in fact, the Municipality deemed it necessary to adhere to this proposal. The reasons for the mediation were identified in the final report of the Commission of Inquiry concluded last April and in the letter of the General Manager of last May 14th.
Letter, in which the company ‘La Nuova Residenza’ was invited to fulfill the relegation of the green area to the Municipality, “as foreseen and certified by the notarial deeds that have followed one another over the last thirty years”, as reported in a note from the Municipal Administration.
The meeting is scheduled for next July 8th at Conciliation service of the Chamber of Commerce of Ferrara and Ravenna, and will be preparatory either to the extrajudicial settlement of the dispute between resident citizens and the owners of the area, or to the initiation of litigation. The choice by the Administration to adhere to the procedure is “determined by the particular relevance of the public interests involved”.
