Castelfrettese’s team takes shape

CASTELFERRETTI The Castelfrettese team takes shape with two more renewals that bring the confirmations to eight. Alessandro Capitani (born in 2002), a true Castelfrettese, who has made 25 appearances in the last Promotion championship plus 2 in the Italian Cup, will ensure drive and quality on the left track. Raised in the flourishing youth system of Up Castelfrettese, the full-back completed his youth career at Recanatese, where he was launched by coach Giovanni Pagliari into the first team, so much so that in 2021/22 he participated in the historic promotion to C and the conquest of the amateur championship. In the first part of the following season he played for Castelfidardo in Eccellenza, then placing himself in great evidence in Group B of Promotion with Potenza Picena, where he has collected 2 goals and 12 assists since January 2023. Left-footed, Capitani can play both as a left-footed winger and as a central midfielder. His peculiarities are dynamism and progression, as well as the ability to paint set pieces and crosses with a rev counter. A favorite of the warm red and white fans, his presence in the squad is essential to transmit a sense of belonging and strong identity to the group. Aware of the great potential of the boy, the club of president Augusto Bonacci expects the definitive consecration from him.

The first player chosen by the frogs to make up the offensive department is Mattia Santinelli (born in 2005) who has collected 3 appearances in Promozione, coming on in the matches against Gabicce Gradara, Valfoglia and Fermignanese, after having stood out as captain with the Under 19 team led by Marco Bacelli, in which he scored 12 goals. Equipped with drive, acceleration and good technique, able to play as a winger or as a second striker, he will represent an important offensive arrow for the team of the new coach Simone Ricci with the aim of continuing the growth path undertaken in the first year of militancy in the red and white after the formative experience with Marina.

The date of June 30 instead marked the end of the 2023/2024 season and the interruption of the relationship between Castelfrettese and twelve players. The paths of the red and white club and Aleks Beta, who landed at Biagio Nazzaro, separate. In three seasons the Albanian bomber has greatly honored the shirt by scoring 36 goals. Luca Rocchi’s adventure with the frogs also ends, having settled at Barbara Monserra after scoring 18 goals in two championships. Both forwards were undisputed protagonists in 2023 of the double in the First Category (championship and Regional Title) with Yuri Bugari at the helm. The goalkeepers Alessandro Tomba (to Elpidiense Cascinare) and Tommaso Cominelli (to Marina), the defenders Yuri Sampaolesi (to Borghetto), Mattia Scortechini (to Barbara Monserra) and Gianmarco Simone, the midfielders Michele Piancatelli (to Ankon Dorica), Nicola Palazzi and Tomas Mosciatti and the forwards Iheb Mechri and Tommaso Ginesi, the latter having returned to Cupramontana at the end of his loan while waiting for a new destination, will also no longer be part of the Castelfrettese team.

The company of President Augusto Bonacci thanks the twelve boys for their commitment and warmly wishes them good luck for future challenges.
