FARMHOUSE MONFERRATO – Off to a great start for CasaleComics & Games 2024already in the first minutes of the fair Saturday 25 Maythe queues to enter the Palafiere or the Castle were significant, but it was worth waiting a few minutes to be pleasantly welcomed by Giandroide himself. The electoral period prevents the visibility of politicians and administrators, so it was the popular mascot of the event who cut the ribbon together with Daniela Balbo and Adriano Taricco, managers of mON, the company that has organized the event since 2016. In the morning, Yoshiko Watanabe, a comics legend both in Japan and in Italy, arrived in the Artist Alley of the Castle. In the afternoon, the table next to her was occupied by David Lloyd, immediately creating a long line of people through the stands of the Castle to have a drawing of the creator of V for Vendetta.
Municipal Theater sold out for the voice actors of Hazbin Hotel: Riccardo Suarez and Rossa Caputo and on the main stage of the Palafiere. Fun and informative afternoon with the star of Art Attack Giovanni Muciaccia, engaged in a very popular art workshop. At 4.30pm the largest parade of gods left towards the Castle from the Palafiere Cosplayers of the history of CasaleComics with hundreds of participants who amazed passers-by by crossing the entire historic center to the rhythm of music and songs.
End of the day with crowd for Giorgio Vanni who performed for the first time in Casale with the live group “Goku’s sons”.
Finally, to remember the Event’s commitment to charity, the Krumiri Rossi boxes were irresistible, autographed and designed by the authors of the Artist Alley to finance the medical research of solidAL which in Casale Monferrato focuses on environmental pathologies. For this purpose, on Sunday 26th there will be a public auction of the works of the most famous comics artists.
