Remember a personality who, with passion and competence, was committed to Italian olive growing, and enhance the close relationship between agriculture and culture. The Ranieri Filo della Torre award reaches its seventh edition, and closes with a success of intent and participation.

Today the ceremony at Palazzo della Valle on the initiative of Pandolea, the association of oil women, promoters of PANDOLEA INTERNATIONAL, which brings together the oil women of the Mediterranean. Initiative in collaboration with La Ruota Edizioni curator of the anthology, the National Academy of Olive and Oil and GiULIVI Readers, with the patronage, among the organisations, of Cia-Agricoltori Italiani.

For Cia, the president of Donne in Campo, Pina Terenzi, spoke at the event.

The competition, also created to exalt the world of Evo oil on a literary and scientific level, made use, as every year, of a qualified jury for the assignment of three literary prizes dedicated to the poetry, fiction and haiku sections, while an academic committee awarded recognition for the scientific section to the three best degree theses on oil and the olive tree.

Special recognition, however, goes to Nerina Di Nunzio, expert in food and wine and personal growth, Sabrina Pupillo, food technologist and popularizer in the olive sector, Luciana Squadrilli, food and wine journalist and Marzia Roncacci, TG2 journalist and presenter of Tg2 Italy-Europe. The winners will receive works by the painters: Patrizia Balzamo, Laura Covino, Luisa Grifoni and Carlo D’Orta.
