These days, the Alpine troops of ben 22 groups from Valle Imagna and Val San Martino are going daily to Mount Linzone to prepare the event, which will be further enriched by the presence of the Bishop of Bergamo, Monsignor Francesco Beschi.

THE PROGRAM – The meeting will be divided into three moments: the raising of the flag and the greeting to the civil, religious and Alpine authorities of the two valleys at 10.30. At 11.00 the Holy Mass will be held in memory of all the fallen celebrated by the bishop of Bergamo. Finally, at 1.00 pm, there will be packed lunches. Join the ANA Val San Martino Choir.

With its 1300 meters of height, Mount Linzone is the watershed between the two valleys. It is an area without lighting and water, and the only way to reach the summit is via mountain paths.

In 2007, on the initiative of two Alpine soldiers from Cisano Bergamasco and Sant’Omobono Terme, and also of Monsignor Daniele Rota, it became a place of meeting, worship and prayer, mainly thanks to the presence of the sanctuary dedicated to the Holy family of Nazarethblessed on 20 August 1994 by the late bishop Amadei.
