INDIANA PACERS, WHAT A WASTE! Boston wins game 1 in overtime… with a lot of luck

The Indiana Pacers committed 22 errors against Boston, including two in the final 40 seconds of regulation, allowing Jaylen Brown to force overtime with a long-range shot. Boston outscored Indiana 16-11 in overtime and won Game 1 133-128.

Indiana’s relentless offense allowed the Pacers to get back into the game and have a 3-point lead with 46.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The Pacers then made costly mistakes and failed to protect the lead.

The finale was chaotic, punctuated by Indiana’s missed opportunities and the offense of Celtics star Jayson Tatum. Boston’s Jaylen Brown hit a difficult 3-pointer in the corner with 6.1 seconds left to force overtime, and the Celtics outscored the Pacers in five minutes of OT for a 133-128 Game 1 victory.

However, this first match made us understand that it will not be an obvious series. The Indiana Pacers will sell their skin dearly and will try to let the Boston Celtics play as many games as possible. The green and whites still remain the favorites but the Indianapolis team is much tougher than you might think and tonight they proved it once again.
