Cannes Film Festival 2024, day 2. We are only at the beginning but we have already seen some beautiful things on the red carpet. Tonight we focus on two beautiful women who lit up the Croisette: Anya Taylor-Joy, protagonist of the film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga by George Miller, out of competition but highly anticipated, and Naomi Campbell who walks the red carpet with her usual magnetic determination.
Here we are: the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival has begun, inaugurated by the screening of Le deuxième acte by Quentin Dupieux. As always, the vanity fair parades on the first red carpet: between wet looks, natural hair, intense smokey eyes, striking lipsticks and beauty looks aligned with the most viral trends in circulation, who will win the Palme d’Or for beauty ?

Looking at them, the two divas are practically poles apart in the choice of beauty look: if the American actress chooses for the event a boiling ice mood à la Grace Kelly, cold in appearance but very hot in DNA, the British top shows herself with one lioness hair and strong make-up.

The eternal “diatribe” of beauty is staged in Cannes: on the one hand the protagonist of The Queen of Chess that collects hair ice blonde in a very tight and elaborate chignon that is revealed in a sort of trichological work of art to which she combines eyeliner as precise as retro style red lipstick and a porcelain complexion. On the other comes the model with one curly hair, soft and left free to move in the evening breeze. The skin is taut and luminous, the nude lips are offset by a feline Cleopatra 4.0 eyeliner.
Dark versus Light: a claim which also continues with the two jurors Eva Green and the president Greta Gerwig. The first very goth, with slightly wavy and voluminous raven hair, double-layered eyes, glossy mouth but in natural tones, a touch of pink blush. The second with the short blond cut artfully disheveled, mascara on the eyes and firefighter lipstick that recalls the dress.

While the saying “what’s alike, what’s alike” is definitely true Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Palataky, always at his side (and who would abandon someone like that?). Hair, eyes and complexion of the same colour: in short, the two, who are one of the most close-knit couples in the star system, are also united in style and colour.
