The 34th matchday of Serie A ends with the postponement between Genoa and Cagliari. With four matches remaining in the championship, the situation in the standings sees the Naples even more difficult. The draw against Roma allowed the team to fully escape Lazio, which is now at +5 points, temporarily securing seventh place, valid for the Europa League. Plus with the resounding 5-1 against Sassuolo Florentine (with one game less) they are level on points: at this moment the Azzurri would also be out of the Conference League.
Bologna and Roma also slowed down, as they will still have to fight to defend their Champions League place with Atalanta having shortened their lead and also having a match to recover.
