At the moment Capcom doesn’t seem to want to hear about giving life to a remake, a remaster or even just a sequel, leaving the arduous task to the fans.
This, despite Dino Crisis you continue to win by a landslide in polls put together by the House of Mega Man and the fans.
Despite the silence, today – July 1, 2024 – falls the 25th anniversary since the release of the first and unforgettable Dino Crisisand apparently Capcom seems to have remembered it (via ResetEra).
Both the official Japanese Capcom account and the one dedicated to the artwork “celebrated” Regina’s birthday, with the two social posts you can find just below.

Birthdays aside, it now remains to be seen whether Capcom will truly breathe new life into Dino Crisiswith a new video game dedicated to the series that fans have desperately needed for far too long now.
