Game Science took advantage of the media showcase granted by the Summer Game Fest to announce the opening of pre-orders for Black Myth: Wukong and reveal the different editions planned: let’s find out together which ones they are, what they offer and how much they cost.
Black Myth: Wukong will hit the market on August 20, 2024 in its versions for PC and PlayStation 5while the Xbox Series X|S edition will arrive later in the year due to the additional optimization work required.
Pre-orders for Black Myth Wukong have started on the official website, where four different editions are listed – two digital and two physical.
Digital Standard Edition for PC and PlayStation 5
It is available for pre-order on Steam and Epic Store for 59.99 euros and on PlayStation Store for 69.99 euros and exclusively includes the base game.
Digital Deluxe Edition for PC and PlayStation 5
Available for pre-order on Steam and Epic Store for 69.99 euros on PlayStation Store for 79.99 euros. Includes the base game, Bronze Cloud Staff weapon, Nuo Opera Mask, Nuo Opera Armor of Charity, Nuo Opera Leather Bracers and Nuo Opera Boots, and Wind Chimes unique item and the exclusive digital soundtrack.
Physical Deluxe Edition for PC
The physical Deluxe Edition of Black Myth Wukong includes an activation code on Steam and several physical gadgets, namely a Steel Case, a 1:1 scale headband (The Constricting Headband), a color print on silk parchment ( Chaos at the Peach Banquet), the Wind Chime necklace, the Thunderstone ring, the Gold Sun Crow pin, several prints and postcards, a guarantee certificate. It costs $169.
Physical Collector’s Edition for PC
The most valuable piece of the lot costs money 400 dollars and includes a Steam activation code, the Steel Case, a statue of the protagonist 40 centimeters higha color print on silk parchment (Teaching of the Heart Sutra), the Wind Chime necklace, the Thunderstone ring, the Gold Sun Crow pin, several prints and postcards, a warranty certificate.
By pre-ordering any of the above editions you can receive as bonuses the Crimson Pioneer’s Flask item (also unlockable in-game). At the time of writing to you, the physical Deluxe Edition and the physical Collector’s Edition are not available for PS5.
