On Friday 5th July at 6am the Italian rugby team begins its Summer Tour

On the morning of Friday 5 July, at 6 am Italian time, Italy rugby will make its debut against Samoa in the first of three summer test matches of the Summer Series. The match will be visible on live TV and streaming.
After this first match in Apia, the Azzurri will return to their headquarters in Auckland to prepare for the second match which will take place the following week, on Friday 12 July, in Tonga with kick-off set for 4am in the middle of the Italian night.
Finally, Gonzalo Quesada’s boys will move to the land of the Rising Sun for the third and final match: Japan Italy which will be played in Sapporo on Sunday 21 July at 7.05am.

The match between Italy and Samoa, as mentioned, will be broadcast live on Sky Sport Uno and Sky Sport Max and streamed on Sky Go and NOW at 6:00 am on Friday 5 July. The match refereed by New Zealand referee Paul Williams will be an important first test for the Azzurri after the excellent Six Nations 2024 which allowed Michel Lamaro and his teammates to position themselves in eighth place in the World Rugby Ranking. And the fourteenth place currently occupied by Samoa should not be misleading, especially when they play at home, they are always a tough opponent.
