The A2 volleyball series is back to speaking Molfetta. The strong spiker Elio Cormio, born in 1998, a product of the Pallavolo Molfetta youth team, will be a new player for Cantù, a team that plays in the second volleyball championship.

The interesting mix of young and experienced players that has always built the Cantù club will be able to count on the performances of the player from Molfetta who has done so well in recent seasons, away from home.

After starting his career in his hometown team, in the youth sector of Serie A, Cormio is part of the squad that plays the last SuperLega season in the Molfetta jersey and, at the same time, grows and finds playing time in the second team in Serie C. Just twenty years old, he moves to Serie B in Sorrento, then returns to Puglia in Lucera, before being called up by Palmi in Serie A3. After the Calabrian season, ended prematurely due to injury, he returns home, to Pallavolo Molfetta and almost plays the playoffs, taking a series of satisfactions. In the last two seasons he has played in La Spezia in Serie B, playing championships above the lines that earned him the double jump and the chance of Cantù in A2 where he should not start, but will be able to provide his precious contribution in attack, blocking, serving and in the fundamentals of the second line.
