Giovanni Leoni he is a young Italian central defender, he was born in 2006 and has just been bought out by Sampdoria. He will sign – from what Fabrizio Romano writes – a new contract with Sampdoria, a three-year contract valid until 2027. On 12 June, with an official press release, the Sampdoria club had exercised the right to definitively purchase the rights to the player’s sporting performances for one and a half million euros.

Confirmations in this sense also come from Matteo Moretto who speaks of the Nerazzurri’s interest in the Italian, as well as Monaco and Tottenham, and reiterates how the Sampdoria club values the €4 million price tag and would consider keeping him on loan for a year. “Sampdoria recently bought him back for one and a half million plus 10% on future resale,” he added.
