Mission accomplished for Bari who managed to avoid relegation to Serie C by achieving victory on the Ternana pitch, beaten with a solid 0-3 after the 1-1 draw in the first leg at San Nicola.

At Liberati, where success was the only result contemplated to avoid the abyss of relegation, Valerio Di Cesare was once again decisive: on the evening of his 41st birthday the red and white captain broke the deadlock in injury time of the first half .

In the second half came the early second goal scored by Giacomo Ricci and about half an hour from the end Peppe Sibilli scored the hat trick which definitively swept away the nightmare of relegation. Now the red and whites can celebrate, but in a few days it will inevitably be time to take stock, especially after the words of Aurelio De Laurentiis on the eve, which had further inflamed an already incandescent environment.
