Fiorentina starts with their priorities and is about to complete their first operation of the winter transfer market: the attacking winger Manor Solomon, on loan to Villarreal but owned by Tottenham. The signing of Fabio Paratici, the manager who is expected soon in Florence, after having terminated his contract with the English club, seems clear in the negotiations. This would be his first purple shot ever.
FORMULA
—
For Solomon, the dry loan with Villarreal will be interrupted and a new loan with the Viola will be made, this time with the right to buy. Quality, but also several injuries in his career for the Israeli who is also a protagonist with his national team (highlighted in September 2025 against Italy) and who must relaunch himself in Florence after having found little space in La Liga where he has only made 6 appearances since the start of the season, with one goal and four assists. At Fiorentina he will bring characteristics that are absent in the squad because there are currently no attacking full-backs available to Paolo Vanoli. Right-footed, it works mainly on the left but can also be adapted to the right. Skilled in one against one, he will have to be good at immediately integrating into Fiorentina and Serie A to try to give a shock and unpredictability to a team that is last in the classics and must try to recover.
CAREER
—
Born in 1999, Solomon grew up as a footballer in Israel, where he started in Maccabi Petah Tikva and then moved to Ukraine with Shakhtar Donetsk, an experience interrupted by the Russian conflict that began in 2022. From that moment, his adventure in England began and, after a brief stint at Fulham, he moved to Tottenham where he was unable to establish himself mainly due to physical problems. Last season he played in the Championship with Leeds where he achieved promotion and was one of the protagonists, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists in 41 appearances.
