Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Anna Popplewell and William Moseley shared their fondest memories on the set of The Chronicles of Narnia.
Greta Gerwig is currently busy with the creation of the revival of Narniabut the young stars who starred twenty years ago in the first adaptation The Chronicles of Narnia taken from the volume The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe some shared memories of that production, including i favorite moments made on set.
The Chronicles of Narnia Cast Shares Favorite Memories After 20 Years
Twenty years have passed since the release of The Chronicles of Narnia at the cinema and, on the occasion of the anniversary, the four stars who played the four protagonist brothers Lucy (Georgie Henley), Edmund (Scandar Keynes), Susan (Anna Popplewell) e Peter (William Moseley) shared some of their memories from the set on the microphones of Metro. The story is based on the famous novel by CS Lewis. William Moseley she said she had to compete with 3,000 other young actors for the part, while Georgie Henley admitted she was scouted by the casting director while reading a sad book.
He was also in the cast James McAvoy which he played Mr Tumnus and, some time ago, the actor had talked about his experience on set, which was very similar to that of Georgie Henley. On the occasion of the New York Comic-Con, he dusted off his memory by thanking the director for the work done: “I think Andrew kind of kept us together. The director was a great person, a great director, he just hoped we would get along really well. AND [Georgie Henley] she was a very young girl at the time. […] I don’t think he had acted before, so […] I spent a lot of time with Georgie and her family, and they were really lovelyFor her part, Georgie Henley told Metro: “He was so patient with me, an 8 year old who is discovering all these things [e] sometimes he has all the energy in the world. I mean he was 24 at the time, the maturity and generosity with which he operated… when I think about it now, I realize how exceptional they are”.
William Moseley, however, recalled the fight scenes which generally also involved the controfigure e Tilda Swintoninterpreter of White Witchnever missed the opportunity to jump into the fray: “It was a 110-bar sword fight, which becomes like a dance, and then every now and then the stunt doubles come in, and they take care of the dangerous parts. Tilda had a blast. She’s not a prima donna, not at all. He really wanted to do everything, which made it a lot of fun”.
