Mazara, “Just Jungle” event in the Cathedral between games, reflections and faith • Front Page

Also this year the Santissimo Salvatore Cathedral parish of Mazara del Vallo organized the Grest, entitled “Just Jungle” #makeyourchoice. From 10 June until Friday 28 June, 98 children and young people and 24 animators, coordinated by the parish priest Don Edoardo Bonacasa, are living a joyful, fun educational experience, full of playful activities, all naturally in the name of the theme chosen this year. The daily reading of the Gospel, with which the day begins, followed by a reflection, indicates to the participants which choice truly makes them protagonists and how to choose what gives true joy, thus responding to the proposed theme.

As usual, every year, the Grest children dedicate a morning to meeting the Bishop: on Tuesday 25 June Monsignor Giurdanella met the children in the atrium of the bishop’s palace. On Friday the Grest will end with a final show, at 9pm in the atrium of the Cathedral, with the active participation of children and parents.
