In defense of the Constitution, the 5 Star Movement, the Democratic Party, the PSI and the Green Left Alliance, sections of Marsala, in a joint press note, they invite everyone to participate in the mobilization which will be held on June 18th in Piazza Matteotti. “Also in Marsala, as in Rome, the parties of the progressive area – Five Star Movement, Democratic Party, Green and Left Alliance and PSI – are launching a joint demonstration for Tuesday 18 June at 5.30 pm in Piazza Matteotti. The initiative – they write – has already received the support of numerous groups and associations, including Young Democrats, Marsala Coraggiosa and ANPI – National Association of Partisans of Italy. The demonstration is open to all political, social, civic and democratic forces, as well as to all citizens who care about national unity and the fundamental principles of our Constitution”.

The political movements and parties say: “The event represents an opportunity to oppose the policies of premiership and differentiated autonomy promoted by the Meloni Government. At a time when the unity and cohesion of the country are threatened by attitudes of violence and aggression, we cannot remain indifferent. Our response must be strong and clear: united against any form of division. We invite everyone to join our mobilization to defend the values ​​and principles that bind us as a nation. On Tuesday 18 June, we are waiting for you in Piazza Matteotti to make our voice heard and demonstrate that Marsala is ready to defend the Constitution”.
