Around one voter in two went to the polls in the province of Cuneo. The turnout data is updated at 7pm this evening, Sunday 9 June. That for the European ones stands at 51.20%, that for the regional ones at 49.95%, both higher than the average for the region. The “driving force” of the municipal elections is clear: in the centers called to also elect the Mayor and Municipal Council, in fact, the turnout recorded at 7 pm was 56.43%.
These are the turnout data in the four “sisters” called to vote for the administrative elections: 56.67% in Alba, 52.52% in Bra, 55.27% in Fossano, 55.53% in Saluzzo. The lowest figure among the Municipalities that must elect the Mayor is that of Perlo (24.28%), the highest in Isasca, where 81.97% of those entitled to vote have already voted.
The lowest turnout for the European elections was in Briga Alta (16.28%), the highest in Monasterolo Casotto (78.21%). Briga Alta also has the lowest turnout for the regional elections (15.04%), while the highest turnout is recorded in Verduno (79.18%).
The Granda data, in general, are higher than the Italian average: the turnout recorded at 7pm at a national level is around 40% for the European ones, when not all sections have already communicated their data.
The polls will close at 11pm.
